- a new publix supermarket has been opened close to the villa, only at 5 minutes drive
- the Posner park shopping mall is continuously opening new shops : Target, Books a Million, Dicks sport, Stappels, Michaels, Best Buy, Ross and some others are all there
- there will be another small shopping complex in the heart of Champions Gate with pedestrian streets at only 6 minutes drive

- Disney World has created a new parade : the electrical parade which is really wonderful, it was first intented to perform during the summer but they have now extended it and there is no end date
